For a number of Texans, the community of Dripping Springs is known for the vodka that bears their name. However, I recently had the opportunity to take in a couple of Travis County Parks right outside of town. Both the Milton Reimer’s Ranch Park and the Hamilton Pool Nature Preserve stunned me with their beauty. Working in the city, I forget sometimes just how wonderful the countryside is right outside the city limits.
While the day was overcast, this visit truly provided wonderful views. My only regret is missing the opportunity to capture the roadrunner and the fox that ran in front of my car. Oh well, perhaps another day. Enjoy!

Safe travels!
