Independence in Space Center Houston

I recently had the opportunity to watch as a replica of the Space Shuttle , named the Independence, was mounted to the top of a 747, which will soon be part of an interactive museum at Space Center Houston. What a marvel to behold!

I was delighted to be present at this special event, honoring the incredible work of NASA and the contributions of wonderful Texans to the space program. 20140817-201545-72945312.jpg20140817-201546-72946147.jpg20140817-201546-72946977.jpg20140817-201547-72947796.jpg
